The accounting major provides academic and experiential opportunities for you to become a professional accountant. Job opportunities include careers in public accounting, 商业与工业, not-for-profit organizations and government. The accounting program is designed for students who plan to enter public accounting or other professional accounting fields. The general accounting program is appropriate for individuals who plan to enter other areas of accounting or to complement other programs of study.

α Psi is a professional service fraternity that includes accounting, finance and information system technology majors. Members discuss current issues concerning professions and take advantage of networking opportunities.

The Goodman IMPRESS program
The Goodman IMPRESS Program is designed to provide all Whitman undergraduates with the skills and experiences employers seek, 包括领导, 通信, 认证, global context and industry exploration.
